ML Emphasis Programs

Higher Education Administration

With all the technological changes in the US and around the world, America's workforce is returning to school. Colleges and universities need qualified professionals to administrate numerous services.

The Master in Leadership Higher Ed Administration degree prepares the graduate for that career. With the MLHEA, students have courses in higher ed law, history, administration as well as numerous courses in leadership.

MLHEA students do a year-long research project incorporated into their course-work. This real-world experience helps the student connect to existing higher-ed programs.

Additionally, the student will work with a mentor in their career field for encouragement and advice regarding professional decisions and career networking.

Public Administration

The MLPA prepares graduates for professional positions in government service or non-profit management. Such positions include management positions with cities, state agencies, county government, the legislature, elected office, and teaching at the college level. Each student is mentored by a proven leader in public administration who guides and advises the student until graduation.

  • This program is a member of the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA).
  • Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society is available to MLPA students who qualify.
  • Paid internships are available for students who qualify.
